Back to School Writing Refresh (Grades 6–8)
Start the school year with confidence! Hosted by Julian’s Pen at Creative Roots, this one-day academic writing workshop is designed to strengthen essential writing skills and prepare middle school students for success in the classroom.
Students may attend one workshop or both sessions for additional practice. Throughout the day, they’ll review sentence structure, paragraph organization, essay writing, using evidence to support ideas, transitions, and revision strategies through engaging, hands-on instruction.
Each student will receive personalized feedback during class and written feedback on one completed essay submitted after the workshop, helping them continue improving even after the session ends.
Workshop Details
Who: Students in Grades 6–8
Session 1: Saturday, August 22 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Session 2: Saturday, August 29 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $100 per workshop
Families looking for individualized instruction or a more flexible schedule may also inquire about one-on-one coaching. Limited spots are available, so register early to reserve your student’s place.
