Have you ever dreamed of performing in a Broadway musical? Students will learn to think on their feet and gain confidence, stage presence, as well as several essential life skills in this play-based musical theatre workshop. Students will learn basic theatre techniques and improvisation through games and apply these skills to musical theatre songs from Broadway musicals and improvised performances. The last class is an open performance class for students to share their work with their family and friends! This workshop can stand alone or be done in conjunction with our story theatre workshop in June. This workshop also makes a great base for future musical theatre auditions - All students will leave with materials that can be used for auditions.
